What are some good websites and stores for finding great antique maps and nautical charts?

Am interested in starting a small collection of antique maps. I’m also interested in old, interesting nautical charts. How do I get started?

The UKHO Archive contains a unique record of the exploration of the maritime world including original manuscripts by Captain James Cook, Captain William Bligh and many less famous but equally dedicated men. Although the science of hydrographic surveying may have become more and more precise over the years, the groundwork in the high standards of accuracy and dedication still present today was laid down by these explorers.Early charts were often embellished with beautiful artwork depicting the strange flora, fauna and native peoples encountered by explorers for the first time. Some of the most attractive documents have been selected and reprinted as The Admiralty Collection
